Design: Klaus Haapaniemi (born 1970) and Heikki Orvola (born 1943) Taika means magic in Finnish - and the series is full of bold and magical products. Haapaniemi's illustrations stimulate the imagination and encourage you to create your own stories. The fascinating and magical designs only reveal their details and meanings to the viewer at second glance. Due to several firing processes, the porcelain is particularly robust and has a slightly creamy colour. Since 1881, Iittala has been inspired by the vision of a better life. What began as a glassworks in the small Finnish village of Iittala has developed into an internationally renowned brand that has fundamentally shaped Nordic living culture.
