In addition, alpaca is free of lanolin and is therefore hypoallergenic. The blanket is woven from fantastically soft and durable alpaca and sheep wool. Weaving textiles from alpaca is a tradition that goes back to the country of origin of the fibres - Peru. The fibres of the alpaca are softer, more durable and warmer than those of other natural fibres. The blanket hardly pills and retains its fine look for many years.
