Abrasive cleaning agents should be avoided, as they can damage the surface. If moisture remains on the surface for an extended period of time—about 24 hours—it can leave fine water marks as it evaporates. These can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner if necessary, but are usually easy to clean without special cleaning agents. For heavier soiling, a mild soap solution can be used. Then wipe thoroughly with a dry cloth to avoid residue.
